There are three ways you can manage your accounts with gecu2go:

Text Us

Need to know your balance, transfer funds or check your latest transactions? Text us, we'll text you back. All you need is a mobile phone with texting capabilities.

  • Activating gecu2go texting is easy
    Log in to gecu-ep.org, go to the gecu2go Mobile/Alerts tab and follow the activation instructions.

If your smart phone has internet service, simply log on to gecu-ep.org. That's it! No enrollment is necessary. You can check balances, your latest transactions or deposits, transfer funds between GECU accounts, and pay your bills.

You can download your iPhone or Android App
iPhone – go to your iPhone App Store online, type in gecu then download gecu2go's app.
Android – Open the Android Market page, type in gecu2go or gecu in the search bar and press enter. When the gecu2go icon appears, click and download.

If you've already downloaded your iPhone or Android App and you're unable to access the gecu-ep.org, it may be that your registered password is more than 8 characters long. To change your password, log in to gecu-ep.org, go to the User Options tab at the top right of the gecu-ep.org home page and follow the instructions to change your password to no more than 8 characters.

gecu2go has added three new features to help make managing your money easier when you’re on the go:

- Transfer funds
- Low balance alerts
- Adding a second phone line

Adding them to your text commands is easy. Here’s how:

Click the gecu2go/mobile alerts tab

For transfer funds

o Select transfer source account

o Press submit

o Text TRANS followed by a dollar amount (example: TRANS 200). We’ll transfer money from your transfer source account to your primary account.

Low balance alerts

o Select low balance alert

o Select the dollar amount from the drop-down field

o Press submit

o You’ll receive a low balance alert when your primary account falls below that dollar amount

Setting up two phones for the same primary account

o Select activate another phone

o Complete the two-step process

o Press submit

And, don’t forget these text commands:

BAL = Primary account balance

BAL ALL = All account balances

BAL CHK = Checking account balances

LAST = Last 5 transactions

We may need to reset your password.
- Call us at 915-778-9221.
- Ask us to reset your password.
- Log back into SmartBranch.
- Create a new password.

Applications Being Accepted for GECU Advisory Directors

GECU’s Board of Directors seeks qualified members to serve as advisory directors who bring to the board an added value in governing the credit union. These are non-voting, unpaid volunteer positions that are opportunities to serve GECU’s members. Advisory directors are named for one-year terms and are called to participate in monthly board meetings. GECU requires advisory directors to be members in good standing with knowledge of financial performance statements, strategic leadership skills, and understanding of corporate governance.

Easier Than Ever To Manage Your Money

GECU is making it easier to manage your money and checking account by processing your MasterMoney debit card signature (credit) transactions at the time each transaction is made.

How will it work?
For example:
- You make a purchase using your MasterMoney debit card.
- When asked if you'll be using your MasterMoney card as a credit or debit, you tell the cashier it will be a credit.
- When the amount of your purchase is approved and you sign for it, that amount will be placed on hold in your checking account immediately.
- The amount of the purchase will remain on hold until the transaction clears your account.

This also means less confusion when you balance your checking account.

Will this affect MasterMoney debit card and ATM transactions using your PIN (Personal Identification Number)?
No, your funds are already taken out of your account immediately.
